The Cityview Best of 2012 Results Are In

...And they're fairly unremarkable, if not unsurprising. We think a few quality establishments were looked over (no Alba? no Domestica?), and there are a few places for improvement (honestly, Hy-Vee can't the best Chinese Restaurant). That's the byproduct of having a reader poll.
However, Cityview reports that, with over 10,000 votes, this is their most successful poll in history. Check out all the winners on their site. Are there some glaring omissions, or poor selections, that we missed?

Odd. I know the metro is only around half of Des Moines' but in Sioux Falls, S.D., Hy-Vee regularly claims around a dozen or so "Best Of" titles, including "Best Chinese Restaurant."

for real though... this is what happens when you leave it up to the masses.
this leaves me to wonder what the Academy Awards would look like if it was up to a popular poll instead of a panel of judges....
