While visually intriguing, this ad is flawed in a number of ways to a degree that I feel is very irresponsible.
A. There is no "cure" for depression. No responsible person would claim otherwise.
B. The suicide implications are heavy handed. Not to mention depression involves a lot more than suicide and many with depression do not experience suicidal ideation.
C. Suicide is not always related to depression, more often related to hopelessness.
D. People with depression often struggle to take care of obligations, thus the dog might be going into a bad situation.
