The London 2012 Olympics mucks up logo selection

/ Comments (1)

As the Olympics gear up to launch on July 27, Londoners are getting more and more agitated. Frustrated by what they feel is an outsized budget for a sporting event in the era of global financial collapse, the design-conscious were riled even further by the games' fractured logo.

The distaste has spurred a meme of parody logos -- many just as illegible as the actual mark.

I gotta say this one deserves the hate. It took me five solid minutes to figure out what, exactly, those orange blobs spelled out.

Old news! This logo has been shit for the last 4 or 5 years. I can't remember when it was released, but I'm really surprised they didn't modify or repeal it.
