National Outdoor Leadership School
Design and Production Intern
Working for NOLS means being a leader, having a flexible schedule, living in beautiful surroundings, making a difference in people's lives, and gaining skills and experience. Join us for a graphic design internship at the base of the Wind River Mountains at our international headquarters in Lander, Wyoming.
The NOLS Design and Production Internship is a six-month position (January–June or July–December) in the creative department at an international nonprofit. Experience a wide range of design and layout projects—from alumni, staff, and donor newsletters to marketing and event materials. Candidates must have a strong sense of design, typography, and color, and bring production abilities and an enthusiasm for communicating in an effective and lively manner. You'll be an integral part of creating printed pieces from conception to layout to press. Collaborating with web and video producers, and assisting with administrative duties like photographer payments will give you a solid perspective on the inner-workings of our in-house creative team.
Internship term: 6 months
Compensation: $100/week stipend, college credit available, discount on a NOLS course, flexible work hours
