Hey GM, Don't Tell Us You Screwed Up. We Already Know.
We think it's time to stop apologizing and start making some kick-ass American cars. Oh, and do it quick so your stock price goes up and we can cash in and retire!

Disagree with you.
Saw this spot for the first time over the holiday weekend.
Think it's well done and well executed.
As long as they keep it with a relatively short run - don't overexpose it - I believe that it's a great move and will resonate well with consumers.
Who else in this economic downturn has come out to the public and said both "We're sorry" and "Thank you"?
And yes... to your point... they do need to get back to making kickass cars and truck, but that isn't an overnight process and this spot buys them a little time to figure out how to do it.

Mike -
Agree that it's a well-done spot. Definitely has a strong message. Almost gave us goosebumps as we swallowed our last bite of Thanksgiving turkey. However, we're not convinced that the people in the executive suites at GM honestly and sincerely believe this ... or if this is just a well done spot to make us feel good until they get greedy and start cranking out Hummers again. Call us skeptics, but the message has to match the actions ... and we're not yet convinced that's the case.
