you'll be seated in a luxurious swivel chair in front of a mac product with a sizable screen. you will be called on to design many extraordinary things using standard adobe programs— up to and including illustrator, photoshop, indesign, etc.

it would be great if you have basic knowledge of print and web design. also, extra bonus for being smart. since we have a small office you'll be working on real life projects with real life clients with real life deadlines. so, heads up on that. (also, we do a lot of print. if you don't like/can't do print, then probably our swivel chair isn't for you.)

you will be mentored by our talented and award-winning art guy. he has many years of experience. and, we mentioned, many awards. also, you will work with two semi-personable writers who will be annoying about correct comma usage.

we ask that you be able to work in our office in downtown des moines for about 15-20 hours each week. this internship is unpaid. but i believe we mentioned that you'll have full use of your very own swivel chair.
